| What are you Thankful for? |
| I love Thanksgiving ... and it's not just my Mom's meal and the wine.... Really
I revel in having those I love & care about around me to break bread and spend time together. On Thanksgiving we do just that. That's one thing I'm thankful for .... The family & friends I'm blessed to be around.
JIMMIE'S is one of the greatest joys in my life. Its never been lost on me that I get to go to work everyday and do something I am passionate ... over the moon .... crazy in love .... with doing for a living! And our Guests make it all possible. Don't get me wrong, Rodney & Mickey have created amazing spaces, Ken is making the most impressive custom chocolates, and we have the BEST retail & production crew in the business, but our loyal Guests are the people that make it possible to do everyday. I can't help but be humbled and thankful for your continued support! We will always work hard to deserve it.
We have amazing leadership and crew at JIMMIE'S. They are the best! So, Rodney, Ken, Mickey, Ginger, Alex, Walt, Andrea, Bro' Ben, Neecy, German, John, and Joe, thank you so much for all your hard work. Alice and Norma you have a heartfelt "thanks " for all the ways you pitch in. I'm also thankful for our honorary crew members Tia, Sophia and General. You put a smile on my face.
None of what we do at JIMMIE'S could be done without you and I want you to know you're appreciated.
I hope all of you, our Guests and our Crew, have a very Happy Thanksgiving!

| Just Tryin' To Catch Up.... |
| I really appreciate all those that have written me to say they enjoy the posts and e-Newsletters I send. Getting such great feedback from you all is so cool! Thanks!
And to those that took the time to write....I get it.....I'm really sorry I haven't posted any updates in a few weeks. I am trying to do better about keeping these things updated. I realize that all this technology is a great way, in our busy world, to stay connected and I'm doing my best to embrace it.
Tasha (little sis) has been insisting that I post to this "J-Blog" more often, and to go on Facebook or MySpace to create a JIMMIE'S page. She's into all that, and I've even been checking it out. The technology behind it all is really amazing. And the networking is definately there. So, I'm trying to make a better habit of posting to the J-Blog and of doing a few more e-Newsletter. Hence this post.

| Giving Back Just Feels Good |
| In our promoting effort for JIMMIE'S we try to participate in events that are fundraisers for worthy organizations....Its a win - win for them and us.
We recently had the pleasure of once again participating in The Ann Storck Center's (15th) Annual Celebrity Chefs Tasting and Auction. We had a blast at this event! Daniela and Nicole do an AMAZING job.
The Ann Storck Center in Ft Lauderdale provides year-round residential programs to children and adults who are severely or multiply developmentally disabled, and/or medically fragile. They do valuable work that needs to be supported and we are happy to help in any way we can. Thanks to all the folks that placed a bid on our silent auction item, and we look forward to having the owner of the winning bid in soon.

| Things have been nuts in every good way....Let's see.......
A few of our VIP's held a fundraiser for Senate Candidate Tim Ryan. That was fun and really informative. Tim Ryan is a good man. And we're such a fan of Debbie Ryan that any excuse to have her around is great by us. Aug 26th is the big day so we encourage everyone to do their homework and VOTE!
Then there was Big Bro' Ben's 2nd Anniversary of his 25th Birthday! Big ups to Don for the polynesian carrot cake.....Three words - oh my God! That was "smack mama" good! Even Tasha enjoyed it on her B-Day....And to everyone that sang for their cake - just precious. You all really made Ben's day. Thank You! As for the Surprise Party that followed...It was a surprise! and the rest is on a need-to-know basis. We'll leave it at "a great time was had by all".
Christine Alexander's For Your Pleasure! party was a big hit...More on that another time. For now just know that we'll do another party VERY soon. We had a blast! and the Cafe was the perfect place to host this event.
Lot's going on so make sure you've signed up for our e-mail list. It's the best way to keep up with us.

| Happy 4th of July to all! |
| The chocolate shoppes will be closed, but the cafe will be open on July 4th. All of our locations will keep their normal hours after the holiday.
Stop in for an All American Burger: Filet from California, Veggies (Lettuce & Tomato) from Florida, Wisconsin Cheese, and Carolina Bacon! It's the Yankee Doodle Burger.......
How corny can I possibly get......well, you just wait........

| Finding Inner Peace! |
| I don't see much television so when I catch something so powerful, I can't help but pass it on.....
Recently a respected Day - Time Doc proclaimed "The way to achieve inner peace is to finish all the things you may have started but never completed...."
So I took a look around .... Today I finished off a bottle of Pinot Noir, a 1/2 carafe of Zinfandel, a bit of Grand Marnier, some left over "Bat Juice", a package of Oreo's, the remainder of an old prozac prescription, the rest of one of Donnie's cheesecakes, some Doritos, and a 1/4 pound of JIMMIE'S CHOCOLATES.......
You have no idea how friggin' good I feel right now! (Stressing the "right now" part)
I may not have found inner peace, but I'm on my way!

| We're just hoppin' along.... |
| St. Paddy's Day was fun and now we're hoppin' right into the Easter Holiday and Spring Time......
I for one really enjoy the nostalgia of this time of year. The solid chocolate bunnies, creme filled chocolate eggs, and chocolate gift baskets really make our shoppes look festive. Its a lot of fun.
We keep having a little too much fun at the Cafe, so today we decided to work REALLY hard...Nose-to-the-grindstone kinda' day, ya know? We had the REALLY tough job of ...... tasting wines with my new best-est friend, Wayne. Its needless to say that the Cafe is going to have some killer new wines to serve! I'm so excited about them. We'll be adding them soon so keep checking back. We're adding some new menu items as well. Rumor has it we may even be adding/changing some hours at the Cafe to serve you better........Lemme get through Easter and I'll post all the exciting news.
For those that are reading this and saying to themselves, "Uh-oh, Easter's on Sunday!!!", Yes we still have plenty of Easter Chocolates at both our Dania Beach and Pompano Beach Locations. And, uh, where have YOU been? You should make it a habit to keep checking the Events Calendar at our website. It's a great way to keep up with all the holidays.

| Whaddya' mean its MARCH already?????? |
| I just can't believe how the time is flying by.....Thank God I love what I do 'cause I've been busting hump lately.....
Valentine's Day was a blast and a big success at the chocolate shoppes. Thanks to you ALL - Guests & Staff alike.
At the risk of getting all mushy on you.....It has always humbled me to find so many people that wouldn't have any other chocolate for their special occasions. We had a gent from Sebring come down for our chocolates at his wife's request. She wanted no other for Valentine's Day. We hear those kinds of stories all the time and that's amazing to me. I can't begin to express how lucky and blessed that makes everyone at JIMMIE'S feel.
The Cafe hosted its third Valentine's Wine Dinner to rave reviews....I really enjoyed this one! It was our most impressive menu to date and the wines ROCKED! Everyone at the Cafe stepped up and Jarrod from Southern Wine came through with some great vino selections....Many thanks to him for his help. We'll leave the pdf file of the menu that was served on the "Event's Calendar" on the website. Go to Feb 14th's date so you can see what you missed....and don't miss the next one! We had a lot of our guests return from last year's dinner, and three couples that have made it to each one.....Are we thinking "A Tradition" perhaps?
